About The Position

KPMG in Canada is offering the KPMG SPARK Scholarship, valued at $2,000, to 10 students across Canada. This scholarship is for high school students who are making an impact in their schools, teams, and communities, and who demonstrate an eagerness to create opportunities for themselves and for others. The program aims to provide opportunities for academic and professional growth, explore career paths, develop skills, and connect with peers and mentors.

Requirements

• Be in your final year of secondary school (outside of Quebec) or CEGEP (in Quebec).
• Have a minimum overall grade average of 65% in your most recently completed school year.
• Have applied to an accredited post-secondary institution in Canada (must be enrolled in a full-time program at the time of tuition fund transfers).
• The program applied to must be a minimum one-year duration (university preparation programs in any jurisdiction are not eligible).
• Must be in a business or STEM program.
• Be a permanent resident or citizen of Canada.

Nice To Haves

• Attending the SPARK event held on November 23rd, 2024 is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Submit the latest transcript or report card.
• Provide confirmation of application to an accredited post-secondary institution in Canada for a full-time program.
• Submit a 500-word maximum document addressing the prompt: "Please provide two (2) examples of how you have done ‘work that matters’ throughout your high school journey (CEGEP for Quebec). I.e., In your community, school, employment positions, etc."
• Attach the written document as a Cover Letter through the iCIMS application.
