About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Korean Teacher to provide customized, one-to-one general language training to a beginner-level adult student in Tampa, Florida. The course is planned for 110 total hours, with two-hour sessions once per week on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sessions are to take place at a Starbucks in Tampa, FL 33607. Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability. The student has self-studied Korean and wants to refresh the basics before progressing to more advanced material based on the trainer’s recommendations. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. Applicants should submit a CV, availability, and earliest possible start date. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

• Be a native Korean speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Have a valid work permit or visa; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one general Korean language instruction to a beginner-level adult student.
• Help the student review foundational Korean and progress to more advanced material based on the trainer’s recommendations.
• Conduct two-hour weekly sessions, currently scheduled for Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the specified Tampa location; schedule and location may be flexible based on availability.
