About The Position

The Korean Bilingual Sr. SAP SD Consultant (PMO) will oversee project tasks, assist with ad-hoc projects for the SAMSUNG PI team, and manage the implementation and optimization of SAP Logistics module processes. This role involves communicating with Samsung HQ and the North America PI team, providing strategic guidance to users, documenting business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending system improvements. The consultant will also monitor and report on issue status, review performance against operating standards, and understand end-user technical requirements for SAP SD and Sales Portal. Additionally, the role includes providing training, documentation, building end-user relationships, and offering ongoing support.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a functional or business consultant with SAP applications
  • Hands-on functional configuration and design experience in SAP environment
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of system development life cycle, dynamic of application development and information technology practices and methods
  • Critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, prioritizing, time management skills required
  • Bilingual (English/Korean) : Must able to read, write and speak in both

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) of computer science or related discipline with an information technology
  • Experience in processing a variety of EDI document types and familiarity is plus
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills exemplified in team work
  • Willingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions
  • Able to understand customer priorities and work toward accomplishing those priorities.
  • Manage the time and attention based on assigned job roles and objectives
  • Have an ABAP debugging skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project tasks and assist with ad-hoc projects with SAMSUNG PI team: Coordination, tracking, and scheduling
  • Communicate with Samsung HQ and North America PI team for the implementation management and optimization of new and existing processes within SAP Logistics module as needed to support customer requirements
  • Provide strategic guidance to users in defining or designing processes to meet customer requirements; document existing customer business processes, identify inefficiencies and recommend system improvements and provide backup for SAP consultants as needed
  • Monitor and report on the status of any issues, proactively review and interpret performance against operating standards; provide information and reports results.
  • Identify and understand end users technical SAP SD and Sales Portal requirements, provide necessary training and documentation, work to build and maintain strong end user relationships and provide on-going support
