About The Position

The Knowledge Program at Baptist Health Floyd provides tuition assistance to healthcare students. Upon graduation, participants commit to joining Baptist Health Floyd, and the funded amount is forgiven based on tenure milestones. The funding amount varies based on factors such as the school, degree program, graduation date, career goals, and demonstrated need. Current Baptist employees must be in good standing to be considered. This is a competitive program, and acceptance is not guaranteed. Applicants must be accepted or actively enrolled in an applicable degree program prior to graduation. Individuals taking prerequisite classes are generally not eligible.

Requirements

  • Be accepted or actively enrolled in an applicable degree program.
  • Be graduating in the field of study.
  • Complete the Baptist Health application.
  • Complete a Knowledge Program survey form.
  • Provide a transcript with current GPA for current/past college students.
  • Provide an acceptance letter into your program.
  • Provide two letters of recommendation, preferably from an employer or clinical instructor.
  • Provide a one-page document outlining how you plan to use the dollars and your career plans for post-graduation.
  • Current Baptist employees must be in good standing with both performance and attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Commit to joining Baptist Health Floyd upon graduation.
  • Meet specific tenure milestones once hired in a professional capacity to have funding forgiven.
