About The Position

Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team. This role serves as the technical authority and strategic advisor for Knowledge Operations support roles. The position involves developing and maintaining a comprehensive data governance model, providing technical expertise to government stakeholders for enhancing Applications and Data Management services, and applying data analytics to optimize operations. The manager will also advise on strengthening communications and computing infrastructure and perform IT functions in compliance with Federal and DoD regulatory guidance.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in STEM related field from an accredited institution with at least 8 years of relevant IT experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoW program/ projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM related field plus 12 years of relevant IT experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoW program/projects.
  • 3+ years of Knowledge Operations Management experience working with Records Management and Database Development.
  • Extensive knowledge of all the items under the task order.
  • Extensive experience working directly with Records Management Systems & Database Development.
  • Database Management & Development Experience.
  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance with option for Top Secret/SCI at the direction of government PM.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical authority and strategic advisor for Knowledge Operations support roles.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data governance model to guide data usage, quality, and management.
  • Provide technical expertise to advise and assist government stakeholders in enhancing the operational effectiveness and efficiency of Applications and Data Management services.
  • Apply innovative data analytics capabilities to identify improvements and optimize mission‑focused operations.
  • Advise and assist the government by offering recommendations to strengthen resilient communications and computing infrastructure.
  • Perform IT functions in alignment with Federal and Department of Defense regulatory guidance to ensure compliance, security, and operational continuity.
  • Provide daily supervision and direction to support teams.
  • Lead, coordinate, and execute specialized IT system planning, design, maintenance, sustainment, and assessment activities.
  • Analyze and resolve problems independently and/or lead teams.
  • Work in DoW IT environment immediately, with little to no assistance.
