About The Position

SCT is seeking a knowledge manager with at least seven years of experience to provide onsite support to the Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) G-1 Directorate of Prevention, Resilience and Readiness (DPRR). This role will organize DPRR administrative and communication products/materials in the Government’s Microsoft Teams and SharePoint sites. These locations serve as a knowledge management portal to maximize the sharing of DPRR information and products across geographically dispersed sites.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years’ experience in communications, public affairs or public relations.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in either mass communication, marketing, advertising, public relations, health communications, knowledge management or journalism.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working for the Government as either a Military member, federal employee or Government Contractor.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and Zoom.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizen (required by contract).

Nice To Haves

  • Army/DoD experience a plus.
  • Experience with Google analytics, Power Automate and Power Bi is a plus.
  • May require the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist DPRR in preparing and executing meetings, preparing After-Action Reports for meetings and events, and drafting official correspondence for Government review.
  • Develop, support, and facilitate knowledge and information management products related to DPRR. This shall include the documentation of key activities or events and producing knowledge products accordingly to facilitate continuity of operations.
  • Implement and administer a document management system (using the Government system) and related procedures that enables DPRR to capture, store, retrieve, share, and destroy electronic records and administrative and communication products/materials.
  • Ensure that knowledge products meet DPRR correspondence management and branding standards.
  • Work with team members to prepare deliverables, including project briefings, newsletter, study findings, reports, conclusions, and recommendations.
