About The Position

KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities, with this position impacting national security. KBR is seeking a Knowledge Manager to support the CAPE Joint Data Support (JDS) Division. CAPE JDS is a multi-source funded and OSD CAPE managed organization responsible for identifying, collecting, developing, analyzing, managing, and disseminating historical, current, and future years U.S. and Non-U.S. forces inventory, capabilities, and deployment data. This data includes planning, programming, and acquisition data, supporting collaborative study teams guided by the Analysis Working Group (AWG). JDS develops standardized data products and analytic tools to support Joint analytic efforts focused on Senior Leader decision support and also supports AWG led SCI/SAP/SAR studies and analyses. The Knowledge Manager will provide analytical and specialized support to senior and executive management, acting on their behalf in delegated matters. This role involves serving as the primary liaison with administration and various support functions, coordinating the implementation of procedures and programs, and prioritizing complex assignments. The individual will exercise judgment, initiative, diplomacy, and tact, ensuring confidentiality, and making administrative decisions based on organizational knowledge, policies, and personnel. The position also entails performing a broad range of administrative tasks for senior executive level management, directing established guidelines, administering policies affecting subordinate employees, and recommending changes to unit or sub-unit policies.

Requirements

  • Must have an active Secret security clearance to be considered for the position.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Eight (8) years of knowledge/content management experience.
  • Eight (8) years of administrative experience in at least two (2) of the following areas: Administrative Support (expertise in executive customer service, administrative support, scheduling, project management, relationship building, and communication); Content Management (expertise in content creation/curation, strategic writing/communication, copy writing, marketing, and DoW access control); Knowledge Management (expertise in change management, data analysis/management, large-scale content curation/management, and DOD business/content processes).
  • Demonstrated expertise in SQL.

Responsibilities
