About The Position

We are seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist - COMSEC / KMI for the COMSEC IT Services contract. The Knowledge Management Specialist will support the development, maintenance, organization, governance, and dissemination of operational knowledge supporting COMSEC operations, secure communications, controlled-accountability systems, and KMI.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in COMSEC operations, secure communications, and controlled-accountability systems.
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations.
Security+ certification or DoD 8570 IAT Level II.
KMI certification.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, or related field
Active TS/SCI clearance.
U.S. Citizenship

Nice To Haves

Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
ITIL certification within 6 months of hire.
Experience supporting COMSEC or cryptographic operations.
Experience with Federal knowledge-management systems or ServiceNow.
Experience developing technical SOPs and operational documentation.
Experience supporting audit and compliance activities.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain operational procedures, work instructions, knowledge articles, and reference materials.
Capture and preserve institutional knowledge.
Maintain technical and operational documentation repositories.
Support knowledge transfer between teams and personnel.
Support onboarding, cross-training, succession planning, and workforce continuity.
Review documentation for accuracy, currency, consistency, and completeness.
Maintain controlled documentation and version-management practices.
Support audit readiness and documentation traceability.
Maintain KMI and COMSEC operational knowledge artifacts.
Assist with lessons-learned capture and process improvement.
Coordinate with subject-matter experts to document technical procedures and operational processes.
Support ITIL-aligned knowledge-management processes.
Ensure knowledge materials are appropriately controlled based on security and access requirements.
