We have an opening for a Knowledge Archiving and Support (KAS) Program Manager to work within the Knowledge Management program. You will be responsible for overseeing Strategic Deterrence (SD) digitization operations, knowledge preservation and curation, and access to legacy technical materials through the Research & Knowledge Services and Digitization Services teams. You will manage assigned knowledge-service operations, implement established strategies, standards, and governance practices, resolve complex operational issues, and provide recommendations regarding service priorities, resources, and process improvements. You will coordinate closely with the Taxonomy Program and Knowledge Applications team on metadata standards, semantic governance, and repository integration, though semantic model development itself sits outside this role’s scope. This position will be in the Administration Division within the Operations and Business Directorate and is matrixed to the Strategic Deterrence Directorate. This position may offer a hybrid schedule, which includes the flexibility to work from home one or more days per week, after a probationary period. The specifics of the hybrid schedule, including the exact number of days required in the office and virtual work options, may vary based on the needs of the team and the organization. This position will be filled at either level based on knowledge and related experience as assessed by the hiring team. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if hired at the higher level.
