About The Position

Working as a team with others to produce various styles of knit caps. This is a fast-paced and detail-oriented role. The primary goal is to maintain the highest acceptable quality in both the process and the finished product.

Requirements

• Ability to work closely with other people.
• Punctual with a positive work attitude.
• Ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
• Detail oriented.
• Willing to cross-train in various positions.
• Some sitting, standing, walking, lifting (over 75 lbs.), bending, twisting, reaching, stretching, pushing, and pulling required.

Responsibilities

• Carefully review paperwork for daily orders, including quantities, colors, due dates, and any specific notes.
• Lift, pull, shove, and push boxes that weigh 10-75lbs.
• Place spools of thread, cord, or other materials on spindles, insert bobbins, and thread ends through machine guides and components.
• Position items under needles, using marks on machines, clamps, templates, or cloth as guides.
• Guide garments or garment parts under machine needles and presser feet to sew parts together.
• Maintain the quality of the knit, assuring measurements, sizes, and sew lines are accurate.
• Work at a fast pace to ensure daily production goals are met.
• Perform other duties as requested.
