The Kitting Technician is responsible for kitting and de-kitting finished goods in accordance with the requests of Greenworks vendor partners. This role has a secondary responsibility of problem-solving inventory issues within the warehouse and ensuring that inventory levels remain accurate to support operations. They are responsible for quickly and efficiently completing kitting tasks in accordance with provided standard operating procedures (SOPs) and on the job training. This role requires cross-functional teamwork with the warehouse operations team, supply chain planning, and finance business areas to ensure overall inventory integrity.

Requirements

High school diploma or relevant qualification
1-3 years’ experience in an inventory control related role
Proven understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control processes
Strong analytical, root cause, and problem-solving skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Access, or other related software tools.
Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic fast-paced, changing, and demanding work environment.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and influencing skills

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of SAP B1, Manhattan WMS, SAP EPW
Associates Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Responsibilities

Execute kitting orders by required date.
Accurately label products in accordance with SOPs.
Maintain and update inventory records in all systems
Serve as the backup to the Inventory Lead
Support inventory responsibilities at all Greenworks North America warehouses.
Support Inventory manager in systematically managing inventory moves, discrepancies, and adjustments.
Support accurate Inventory flow for kitting and reconditioning projects, to include receipt of finish goods in a timely manner.
Audit warehouse inventory and root cause variances
Identify warehouse process issues and support development of work instructions to improve processes
Implement visual workspace standards to clearly define inventory vs. non-inventory items
Coordinate with cycle count team to conduct scheduled cycle counts on a defined basis
Support physical inventory audits on a defined cadence within company standards
