About The Position

The primary function of this position is kitting assemblies/parts for the production lines, providing expertise in coordinating the material, including but not limited to, verifying, recording, and routing. This position will service Production needs by kitting material and maintaining part storage rack organization and availability.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience reading and interpreting Bills of Materials (BOMs)

Responsibilities

Kit materials accurately by verifying: Quantity, Part numbers and Purchase orders
Use inventory and warehouse systems such as AS400 and Vista
Collect and process Kanban cards
Complete rack audits and stock-out scans
Support material flow to production lines
Maintain warehouse organization and storage locations
Apply continuous improvement (CI) methods to material handling processes
Respond quickly to urgent production and supervisor requests
Cross-train and support the Material Handling team during absences and vacations
