About The Position

Kwik Trip is hiring an overnight Kitchens Sanitation Coworker for its Kitchens department in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The state-of-the-art Kitchens department produces more than 40 food products for over 900 retail stores, including soups, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, take-home meals, and prepared fruit and vegetable products. The role supports the sanitation of this fast-paced, high-volume production kitchen and involves operating cleaning equipment, washing equipment parts, and cleaning and sanitizing the process area.

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The starting rate is $19.00 per hour, with an additional overnight premium of $3.00 per hour and weekend premium of $3.00 per hour during the stated weekend hours. The full pay range is $19.00 to $24.96. Actual pay depends on qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency, and internal equity. The position is full-time and requires applicants to be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

• Meet the stated physical qualifications: occasionally lift or carry 15 pounds to 72 inches; occasionally push or pull up to 60 pounds of force; work in temperatures from 45 to 70+ degrees Fahrenheit; constantly bend, reach, and twist; frequently lift or carry 40 pounds to 42 inches; stand or walk up to 10 hours per shift; and occasionally kneel or squat.

Responsibilities

• Operate the COP tank, mechanical dishwashing machine, and floor scrubber.
• Hand wash and machine wash equipment parts.
• Perform general cleaning and sanitizing of the process area.
