About The Position

As a Kitchen Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment. This includes washing and sanitizing dishes, cookware, and utensils, as well as cleaning floors, work areas, and equipment. You will also assist with restocking supplies, inventory, and maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and grooming.

Requirements

Must be prompt, present, and prepared for all shifts.
Must adhere to Wynn Steward Uniform Standards.
Required to attend all training as scheduled to learn Wynn Kitchen Stewarding Guidelines.
Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish.
Ability to work with chemicals.
Ability to work within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a physically demanding job is a plus.

Responsibilities

Washing and sorting chinaware, glassware, and silverware.
Washing large kettles, braziers, pots, pans, sheet pans, and roasting pans.
Washing and sanitizing cutting boards and serving utensils.
Sweeping, washing, and mopping floors to maintain cleanliness and organization.
Maintaining work areas, dessert and pantry stations, pot rooms, and dish rooms.
Washing floor mats, queen marys, speed racks, carts, dollies, shelving racks, and walk-ins.
Scrubbing floors with a scrub machine.
Cleaning hallways, service elevators, walls, and baseboards.
Re-stocking self-service counters with ice, plates, bowls, and dessert plates.
Maintaining clean food counters.
Emptying and washing trash cans.
Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen lines and equipment such as countertops, braziers, kettles, refrigerators, freezers, worktables, steam tables, and microwaves.
Cleaning and sanitizing machinery in support kitchens and Pastry, Bakery, and Fruit Room.
Supplying clean pans, fry pans, sheet pans, lexans, and bus tubs to production areas.
Polishing copper and silver wares as scheduled.
Maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the correct uniform and nametag.
Assisting in inventory.
Delivering chemicals, supplies, and linen when assigned.
Driving powered equipment according to safety guidelines.
Completing assigned duties and acting as a role model.
