Kitchen Worker
About The Position
Southcoast Health is seeking a Kitchen Worker to support the main kitchen of the Food & Nutrition Department at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, Massachusetts. Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Food Service Operations, or designee, the role includes serving hot food, washing dishes, sanitizing kitchen equipment, portioning food, checking food expiration labels, and assisting customers. This is a per-diem position with day/evening shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., including a weekend and holiday rotation. The pay range is $16.48–$23.17 per hour, with the rate determined by experience. Requirements
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for an exemption for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying the choice to be exempt once hired.
