About The Position

The Kitchen Utility Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas. This role involves washing dishes, completing sanitation tasks, managing food stock, and ensuring proper food storage procedures are followed. The position is part-time, with hours from Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and requires working every other weekend and holiday. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour, and candidates must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes, pots and pans using appropriate kitchen equipment.
• Completes daily sanitation assignments in all dining and kitchen areas including equipment and supplies following correct procedures, as directed.
• Unloads and arranges food stock from delivery.
• Ensures loading (receiving) dock is clean and organized.
• Properly wraps, labels and dates food items to be stored in refrigerator, freezer or storage room.
