About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness and guest service within the back of the house operations. The Kitchen Utility Worker will perform various cleaning tasks, ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained, and contribute to a professional and positive work environment. The position requires adherence to company policies, excellent communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old or older upon employment.
  • Some previous experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Team Player.
  • Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively to the public, employees, and customers.
  • Must be able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees.
  • Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
  • Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a consistent high level of cleanliness and guest service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all back of the house areas.
  • Perform simple tasks such as sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces (walls, countertops), and removing trash and boxes.
  • Utilize kitchen equipment for cleaning tasks.
  • Read and follow checklists.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean before and after use.
  • Communicate respectfully with co-workers and follow directions from superiors.
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons.
  • Communicate in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
  • Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Attend all necessary training meetings.
  • Assist in other projects as directed.
