About The Position

We currently have openings for talented Full time Kitchen Utility Persons to share the aloha spirit and strive to create a memorable guest experience. Performs general or specialized cleaning and other miscellaneous tasks, including transferring food items and required dishes to banquet and luau areas and guest plates.

Requirements

• One (1) year experience preferred.
• High school or equivalent education.
• TB clearance card required.
• English speaking or bilingual.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments.
• Ability to maintain good team member relations.
• Dependable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Responsible for all activities pertaining to cleaning and maintaining the food & beverage storage, preparation and service areas and materials and ensures sanitary condition of all china, glassware, silverware, and cookware and serving utensils.
• Assists with proper food storage and rotation.
• Transfers food items and required dishes to banquet and luau areas and guest plates.
• Performs routine tasks under little or no direct supervision.
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
