About The Position

This person is responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and assisting the head chef and other kitchen staff in the preparation of meals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. About Jubilations Catering: This applicant will report directly to our Head Chef. We are a small team and looking for the right people to add to our team. Our company has consistently won awards in the wedding industry for decades & has an outstanding reputation in Estes Park. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary school is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits.
  • Measure and assemble ingredients for recipes.
  • Prepare meats, seafood, and poultry by cleaning, cutting, and trimming as necessary.
  • Prepare sauces, dressings, and other condiments as directed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and in good working order.
  • Follow sanitation and safety guidelines.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen.
  • Assist the head chef and other kitchen staff with cooking tasks as needed.
  • Plate dishes according to instructions.
  • Monitor and ensure food quality and consistency.
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Participate in training and development activities as required.
