About The Position

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Kitchen Team Lead will be responsible for acting as a bridge between frontline staff and management ensuring daily operations run smoothly while working up to Company Standards. Both positions are new positions for the company.

Requirements

Two years experience as a team lead.
Advanced knowledge of food and meat plant regulatory standards (CFIA, etc.), GMP, HACCP, BRC, food safety, food quality, etc.;
Working knowledge of knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), WHMIS, and all other workplace H&S regulations;
Team-player with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders
General Computer Skills (e.g. MS Office)
High School Diploma required.
Food Handlers Certificate

Responsibilities

Oversee daily shift operations ensuring food quality, service and cleanliness.
Open and close the restaurant following all procedures for cash handling, inventory checks and equipment setup/shutdown.
Provide coaching and support to staff to assist in efficiency and motivation.
Complete shift reports, incident logs when required and inventory updates as needed.
Conduct routine checks to ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies.
Handle customer complaints or special requests professionally.
Ensure customers receive fast, friendly and accurate service.
Adhere/comply with company policies and procedures.
Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
