About The Position

The Kitchen Suppression Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, selling, and servicing fire suppression components, including fire extinguishers, kitchen hood fire suppression systems, emergency lights, and other fire products. The technician is expected to work professionally and promptly while meeting weekly service and productivity goals. The role also involves maintaining a clean, organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for the technician, coworkers, and customers.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a current, sustainable good driving record.
• Strong work ethic and professional appearance.
• Ability to learn and comprehend general electrical safety procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in kitchen hood fire suppression.
• Knowledge of applicable inspection and servicing codes.
• Ability to sell and communicate effectively, with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage time to complete as many service calls as possible while maintaining a high level of quality.
• Achieve assigned weekly productivity goals.
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable local and/or state licenses.
• Protect and maintain company equipment and assets.
• Follow company safety procedures, including driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies.
• Maintain the vehicle according to company procedures and keep it clean and organized.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the manager.
