Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn and earn licenses.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with installation, maintenance, or repair is a plus.
Ability to interpret basic technical drawings, schematics, and specifications preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist the lead installer in the installation of kitchen fire suppression systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications, local building codes, and NFPA standards.
Conduct routine inspections of kitchen suppression systems, helping to identify any issues and catch up on past-due work orders.
Support the maintenance and repair of kitchen suppression systems, including exit and emergency lighting and portable fire extinguishers, as needed.
Help cover inspections in the event of technician call-offs, ensuring continued service without disruption.
Occasionally assist in the shop with inventory or other tasks as required.
Assist in maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, maintenance, and repairs performed.
Pass the Pre-Engineered and Fire Extinguisher state certification exams (training provided).
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing kitchen fire suppression systems.
