About The Position
CooperRiis is a therapeutic healing community located in Mill Spring. We are a Smoke/Drug/Alcohol Free Facility. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, specifically focusing on dishwashing and related sanitation tasks. The position also involves assisting with serving and meal preparation as directed.
Requirements
- Experience working in a kitchen environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extend periods of time
- Ability to work with variously chemicals associated with cleaning and sanitizing
Responsibilities
- Washing all service ware, pots and pans, ect.
- Stores and organizes all dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, and other equipment
- Keeps dish room and all work areas and equipment clean and sanitary
- Keeps dish room floor and floor drains clean
- Empties trash, recycling, and compost
- Performs other cleaning related duties as directed
- Performs serving duties as directed by the Executive Chef
- Performs meal prep duties as directed by the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs
