About The Position

A Kitchen Supervisor plays a vital role in the daily operation of the kitchen by using their culinary experience to prepare authentic, high-quality dishes across multiple hot and cold stations while ensuring consistency, efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences. In this role, the Kitchen Supervisor also gains valuable leadership experience by assisting with administrative responsibilities such as scheduling associates, monitoring food quality, preparing food orders, and supporting daily kitchen operations. Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of culinary experience; well-versed in the operation of multiple culinary stations.
  • Knowledge of basic kitchen preparation, knife skills, sanitation, and food safety.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to remain active, including standing for 8+ hours per day.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining exceptional food quality.
  • Flexible scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising daily kitchen operations and supporting the culinary team during service.
  • Ensure all menu items are prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Help maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen.
  • Assist with scheduling associates, inventory control, food ordering, and minimizing waste.
  • Train, coach, and support line cooks and other kitchen associates as needed.
