About The Position

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, kitchen operations, or dining services required
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively while providing direction and support to staff
Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a high-quality dining experience

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
ServSafe Certification preferred; training may be available

Responsibilities

Supervise and support kitchen and dining services staff
Oversee daily kitchen operations and help ensure meals are prepared and served according to established schedules and dietary requirements
Assist with scheduling, training, and day-to-day coordination of dining services staff
Prepare, cook, and serve meals as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient kitchen and dining environment
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
Monitor food and equipment temperatures and ensure required documentation is completed
Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, rotating, and properly storing food and supplies
Address operational needs and support the team in maintaining a positive and efficient dining experience
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
