The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for completing opening and closing duties, setting up and stocking work areas, preparing ingredients, and cooking food according to recipes and quality standards. This role involves estimating food requirements, assisting with banquet food preparation, training new staff, and coordinating kitchen staff to ensure service speed and food quality. The supervisor will prepare food items, operate cooking equipment, set up stations, adjust temperature controls, clean work areas, maintain sanitation standards, and verify food quality and quantity. They will also supervise line associates, consult with chefs and other departments, and perform other assigned duties. Supportive functions include assisting with guest inquiries, following company policies, reporting maintenance issues, and performing other reasonable job duties as requested.
