About The Position

Behind every exceptional dining experience is a spotless kitchen. We’re looking for a PM Full-Time dedicated Kitchen Steward to help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of our hotel’s kitchen and food service areas. In this essential role, you’ll support the culinary team by ensuring all equipment, utensils, and facilities are clean, safe, and ready for service. Pay Rate $20.60. Requirements

  • Flexibility for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced and team-driven kitchen environment.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures in a kitchen environment is essential.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys supporting a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in a high-heat, high-humidity environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a stewarding, housekeeping, or cleaning role.
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, safe handling practices, sanitation standards, and proper equipment use.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing, sanitizing, and properly storing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to hotel standards.
  • Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently while using cleaning chemicals responsibly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, counters, and storage areas to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
  • Collect and dispose of kitchen waste in a hygienic manner.
  • Report any broken equipment, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards to leadership.
  • Support restaurant and banquet operations by ensuring an adequate supply of clean service ware during service.
  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed.
