About The Position

The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment within the kitchen and food and beverage workspaces. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen equipment, prep areas, walk-ins, and storage spaces, as well as washing and storing dishes, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils. The Kitchen Steward will also manage trash and recycling, assist kitchen and event teams with setup and breakdown, and help ensure consistent sanitation standards.

Requirements

• No experience necessary; training will be provided
• Food Safety Certificate or willingness to complete training within 90 days
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, or squat for long periods
• A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, prep areas, walk-ins, and storage spaces
• Wash and store dishes, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils in designated areas
• Manage trash and recycling, including cleaning bins and maintaining the dock area
• Support kitchen and event teams with setup, breakdown, and occasional dish-up assistance
• Help ensure consistent sanitation standards across all food and beverage workspaces
