About The Position

We are hiring Kitchen Staff in VIRGINIA BEACH! Baker’s Crust Bagel in Landstown Commons is a new, exciting bagel shop with New York Ess-A-Bagels, gourmet coffee, and light fare. Requirements

• Attention to detail in all aspects of preparation, execution and plating.
• Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
• Maintain proper uniform standards.
• Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment, including but not limited to: knives, slicer, salamander, oven, stove, mixer and fryer.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs., and work in confined spaces.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Follow all recipes and food handling procedures and standards.
• Manage time for food safety and to allow for guest requests.
• Safely operates and maintains cleanliness of equipment.
• Set up, restock, organize, clean and maintain workspace.
• Performs other assigned duties from the management.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
