About The Position

The Kitchen Staff position at California Chicken Cafe is responsible for preparing the restaurant's scratch-made recipes and maintaining a clean, neat, and organized back kitchen and facilities. This role involves adhering to company core values, following production lists, using kitchen appliances, storing and labeling food correctly, executing recipes, and ensuring the restaurant is well-stocked. The position also requires making and packaging guest orders and communicating any issues with food quality, equipment, or the work environment. Adherence to all company policies and procedures is expected, along with performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire
Able to understand and speak basic English
Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
Must pass Food Handlers course and test in compliance with CA state law requirements
Must be authorized to work in the United States

Previous restaurant experience preferred

Responsibilities

Read and adhere to all company policies and procedures
