About The Position

The Kitchen Staff position at Calif Chicken Cafe in Venice is responsible for preparing the restaurant's famous scratch-made recipes and ensuring the back kitchen and facilities are clean, neat, and organized. This role involves following production lists, processing food, storing and labeling items correctly, and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment. The position also requires making and packaging guest orders and communicating any issues with food quality, equipment, or the work environment to the appropriate personnel. Adherence to all company policies and procedures is expected, along with performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire
Able to understand and speak basic English
Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
Must pass Food Handlers course and test in compliance with CA state law requirements
Must be authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Previous restaurant experience preferred
