About The Position
This role involves working in a fast-paced, high-volume, detail-oriented environment. The position requires regular attendance and physical presence, with exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level is usually moderate. Team members must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects up to 50 pounds unassisted, use hands extensively, reach above and below shoulder height, and perform constant walking, standing, bending, and stooping. The role also involves working in hot and cold environments and adhering to company health and safety rules, including wearing protective equipment and safely using food handling and sanitation chemicals and equipment to meet cleanliness standards and regulatory requirements. Due to the cyclical nature of the grocery industry, team members are required to work varying shifts and schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the Company's operating requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a cash handling, customer service role preferred
- High school diploma/GED required or equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) required
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services
- Ability to achieve performance, quality, and service goals
