About The Position

In our Production Kitchen you’ll assist the Chef by preparing party trays and helping with deli salad and catering production. Requirements

Must be 18 or older.
Must be friendly and a team player.
Work environment includes continuous interaction with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
Typical elements of this job are physical in nature.
Engage in standing/walking 6-8 hours at a time.
Ability to maneuver weight up to 50 pounds.
Schedule may entail evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must pass a required criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

Previous food preparation experience preferred.
Knowledge of proper cooking techniques.
Knowledge of perishables, product rotation, and safe food handling practices.
Intermediate cooking and knife handling skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
Do your part to maintain a clean and organized environment for all.
Plan and direct food preparation to minimize food and supply waste.
Cook or directly supervise the cooking of items that require skillful preparation.
Other duties as assigned.
