About The Position
Maintains the highest standards of cleanliness in the kitchen, using N.Y. Department of Health Standards, and supervises interns and volunteers for cleaning projects.

- Ability to supervise interns and volunteers
Responsibilities
- Cleans and sanitizes all kitchen surfaces, floors and all kitchen utensils adhering to NYS Department of Health standards in a timely manner ensuring Kitchen is safe as well as clean.
- Removes trash from Kitchen and offices, recycling as required.
- Degreases and scrubs all ovens and major equipment.
- Receives and stores all linen and paper orders, maintains/oversees inventory of cleaning supplies. Ensures the utility room is kept neat and organized.
- Supervises interns and volunteers during routine cleaning as well as special projects. Receives goods and store in appropriate areas when receiving clerk is absent.
- Other duties as assigned.
