About The Position
Holy Angels Residential Facility is in search of a Dietary Kitchen Porter to help to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation are being met in the kitchen.
Requirements
- Must be able to communicate with Dietary Cooks
- Must have 1-5 years’ experience working in a kitchen, industrial facility preferred
- Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license to drive for Holy Angels
- GED or High School Diploma Required
- Drug Screen
- Criminal Background Check
- Driver’s License Check
- TB Test
Nice To Haves
- ServSafe Certification a plus
- Must be able to work with individuals with developmental disabilities
Responsibilities
- Follow health, hygiene and safety procedures in the kitchen
- Receive weekly deliveries, store, label and date items in the refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage areas
- Wash dishes and utensils operating dishwasher
- Wash pots and pans using 3 compartment sinks
- Clean and sanitize equipment on daily, weekly, and monthly schedule
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors daily and as needed
- Sweep and mop dining room daily and as needed
- Clean spills as they occur
- Deliver food to designated areas
- Move heavy objects and equipment
- Keep food and supply storage areas clean and organized
- General and heavy cleaning of the kitchen
- Performs all other duties as requested by the Dietary Manager
