About The Position

Omni Nashville Hotel is seeking a Kitchen Notes Server to provide efficient and friendly customer service at the Kitchen Notes restaurant. This role involves maintaining a clean and professional service area, ensuring guest satisfaction, and adhering to all company policies and procedures. Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years upscale casual serving experience
  • Must have knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer
  • Must have experience in selling and presenting wines
  • Previous cash handling experience required
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
  • Must be TABC certified
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift in an indoor/outdoor environments

Responsibilities

  • Properly set-up and maintain a clean efficient service area of the bar throughout the shift
  • Perform guest services using the Moments of Service guidelines
  • Ring orders into Micros, and deliver orders to the table
  • Continually check back with guests
  • Keep all supplies stocked
  • Clean, clear and reset service areas
  • Protect the hotel from liability with regard to over serving guests
  • Complete all duties as assigned by manager
  • Assist bartender when needed
  • Ensure tables are set up properly
  • Aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible)
  • Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions
  • Familiarity with food and drink menus
  • Adhere to cash handling standards
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications
