Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of leadership experience in Kitchen role.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • A demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team – you’re the captain of this ship!
  • Strong leadership and communication skills that shine even under pressure.
  • A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering top-quality dishes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Brigade : Work alongside our talented hourly employees, guiding them in line and prep functions while inspiring teamwork and camaraderie.
  • Master of Inventory : Keep our shelves stocked and our kitchen running smoothly by performing food and smallware orders.
  • Staffing Superstar : Help us maintain a fully staffed back-of-house department, because a full house means a happy house!
  • Communication Champion : Build strong connections with your staff, guests, and fellow managers – because communication is the secret ingredient to success!
  • Culinary Conductor : Oversee all foodservice operations, maintaining our high standards of quality and cleanliness in our BOH environment.
  • Budget Boss : Help us keep our labor and food costs within budget while preparing reports that help us shine brighter every day.
  • Safety First : Ensure the safety of our employees and guests is top-notch because we care about our Carolina Ale House family!
  • Keep it Clean : Maintain a clean and sanitary BOH environment – after all, kitchen cleanliness is next to tastiness!
  • Flexibility in Duties : Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or requested – because every day in the kitchen is a new adventure!
