About The Position

Food People Restaurant Group is seeking an energetic and skilled Commissary Manager to lead their central kitchen operation. This role involves prepping and delivering ingredients and menu items to all 8 TakoSushi locations, serving as the primary food source for the restaurants. It is a full-time position that requires hands-on leadership and a passion for culinary operations.

Requirements

A minimum of two years of leadership experience in a kitchen, commissary, or production environment.
In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Experience with vendor relationships, purchasing, and negotiating pricing.
Strong organizational and logistics skills.
A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
A demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering top-quality products.

Responsibilities

Lead a small, tight-knit team, guiding prep and delivery while jumping in to keep everything moving.
Serve as the primary food source for restaurants, prepping and delivering items to all 8 TakoSushi locations on a reliable schedule.
Build strong partnerships with outside vendors to secure the best pricing and quality of product.
Oversee restaurant ordering and ensure every delivery is smooth, accurate, and timely.
Keep the commissary organized and the delivery schedule humming.
Build strong connections with staff, location managers, and vendors.
Help keep labor and food costs within budget and prepare reports.
Ensure the safety of employees is top-notch.
Maintain a clean and sanitary commissary environment.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or requested.
