The Kitchen Leader is responsible for managing the restaurant's kitchen operations and ensuring our produce, sauces, and proteins are prepared from scratch according to SeoulSpice recipes and standards. You'll lead daily production, organize the kitchen, and develop Sous Chefs who can execute at a high level. By planning the right amount at the right time, you'll keep the restaurant stocked with fresh, high-quality food.

Requirements

  • Has experience working in a busy kitchen and preparing food from scratch.
  • Basic knife skills and familiarity with common kitchen equipment.
  • Enjoys training, supporting, and working alongside other team members.
  • Can keep the kitchen organized and running smoothly during busy shifts.
  • Communicates clearly, solves problems, and treats everyone with respect.
  • Is dependable, positive, and connects with our values of Vibrancy, Respect, Dedication, Teamwork, and Growth.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in preparing our produce, sauces, marinades, and proteins from scratch.
  • Plan daily prep so the restaurant always has enough fresh food without making too much.
  • Train and support Sous Chefs while keeping the kitchen organized and running smoothly.
  • Keep track of inventory, deliveries, labeling, storage, and FIFO rotation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and communicate with the front-line team to keep service flowing.
