Requirements

  • At least one (1) year of related back-of-house and/or kitchen experience required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support kitchen staff during prep and service to maintain smooth operations.
  • Prepare, cook, and portion menu items following established recipes and quality standards.
  • Train new kitchen team members and provide ongoing guidance to existing staff.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, portion control, and production efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and communicate ordering or restocking needs.
  • Uphold sanitation, cleanliness, and food‑safety regulations (including proper storage and labeling).
  • Coordinate with front‑of‑house management to ensure timely food delivery.
  • Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and problem‑solving during busy periods.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and report maintenance needs promptly.
