About The Position

National Star Services, a 27-year-old facility management company with nationwide services, is seeking Kitchen Helpers for its location in Des Plaines, IL 60018. This role involves being part of a team that creates high-end products for hundreds of international airline guests daily. Responsibilities include assisting chefs with food preparation, cutting fruits and vegetables, assembling small dishes, plating meals, and preparing airline catering trays. The position also requires reading and understanding menu specifications, and maintaining clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen spaces while adhering to hygiene, quality, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.
• Must be authorized to lawfully work in the US.
• Must have two updated valid forms of IDs.
• Slip Resistant shoes at work.
• Own transportation to get to and from work.
• A Background check and Drug test will be conducted.
• Must be able to start working as soon as possible.

Responsibilities
