About The Position

Blachford Lodge by Arctic Kingdom is a remote northern wilderness lodge located in the Northwest Territories, offering unforgettable year-round experiences in one of Canada’s most breathtaking landscapes. Accessible only by air, the lodge combines authentic northern adventure with exceptional hospitality, creating a unique and rewarding work environment unlike anywhere else. We are currently looking for a hardworking, adaptable, and team-oriented Kitchen Helper / Line Cook to join our lodge operations team for the upcoming season.

Ability to stay organized and maintain cleanliness standards
Willingness to assist wherever needed to support lodge operations

Nice To Haves

Previous kitchen, camp, restaurant, or hospitality experience is considered an asset
Previous dishwashing, prep cook, or line cook experience is considered an asset
Remote camp or northern experience is considered an asset

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout service
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and dishwashing areas
Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties
Support kitchen organization and cleanliness throughout the day
Assist with food prep and ingredient preparation
Support line cooking and meal service as required
Help cover kitchen operations on days when the Chef or Sous Chef are off rotation
Assist with stocking coolers, freezers, and dry storage
Handle kitchen garbage, recycling, and kitchen slop waste safely and efficiently
Receive and organize food and supply deliveries
Support overall lodge operations during busy periods and guest turnovers
