About The Position
Join the team at San Luis Post Acute Center! Our Skilled Nursing Facility is currently hiring a Dietary Aide/Kitchen help to join our dietary team! We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, takes pride in their work, and helps create a positive dining experience for our residents.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a background check, reference checks, physical & TB screening
- Interest and ability to work with geriatric and disabled people
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- This Position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, twisting, bending
Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking meals for residents
- Helping serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Assisting residents during meal service when needed
- Cleaning and maintaining the dining area and kitchen
- Washing/rinsing pots, pans, utensils, and keeping assigned areas organized
- Working together with staff to create a positive and supportive environment
- Following scheduled duties and assisting with other dietary tasks as needed
