We are seeking a dependable, passionate Cook who enjoys preparing fresh, high-quality meals while making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Requirements

Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant, healthcare, hospitality, or institutional setting preferred
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Dependable with excellent attendance
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
ServSafe Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks according to established menus and recipes
Ensure meals are prepared with consistency, quality, and attention to presentation
Accommodate dietary restrictions and special nutritional needs
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
Properly store, label, and rotate food inventory
Monitor food temperatures and comply with all food safety regulations
Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Work collaboratively with the culinary team to provide an exceptional dining experience
Support special events and occasional catering needs
Help create a warm, welcoming dining atmosphere that reflects Enterhealth's commitment to patient care
