About The Position

To support the success of the Right Kitchen and Bath Divisions by collaborating with clients and associates throughout the design process to create prosperous designs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Kitchens or other interior remodeling projects.
  • Proficient in Auto CAD or other equivalent drafting software (Chief Architect a plus)
  • Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully manage several projects at a time
  • Perform duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner
  • Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
  • Have & maintain clean, reliable transportation to use for client appointments
  • Ability to work nights and weekends if needed
  • Physically able to stand for long periods of time & carry/move up to 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree in Interior Design or Architectural Drafting preferred
  • Residential drafting experience preferred
  • Experience in Kitchen and Bath standards and NKBA standards a plus
  • Intermediate knowledge of construction building methods is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Create accurate Existing Condition Drawings, Design Concept Drawings, and other Construction Documents
  • Sketch, measure, and photo existing field conditions
  • Input and redline existing condition field measurements into Chief Architect, using the current drafting standards
  • Update and implement Mosby drafting standards and construction details
  • Support the Right Kitchen and Bath Sales Consultant with day-to-day activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and keep up-to-date on current construction technology, building products, and trends in the industry.
  • Attend and participate in trade shows and seminars as required.
  • Assist internal and external clients with all aspects of the design process (selections, appointments, etc.)
  • Manage the selections inventory for Right Kitchen and Bath
  • Continually develop new skills, knowledge, and utilize technology to fulfill responsibilities
