About The Position

Performs specialized cleaning of casino, hotel, spa, and food-and-beverage premises using specialized or skilled cleaning methods. The role includes detailed cleaning of kitchen machinery and spa and casino-floor areas, as well as cleaning and sanitizing food-service and storage areas. The employee operates and performs preventive maintenance on heavy cleaning equipment, reports unsafe conditions and equipment needing repair, and identifies when supplies or chemicals need restocking. The position also provides guest service and follows applicable internal controls, standard operating procedures, and Tribal regulations. The role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Five years of custodial experience, including experience with specialized cleaning equipment.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license.
• Must be able to walk up to 1½ miles, climb stairs, and stand, move, and work throughout the office area and properties.
• Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
• Must be able to grasp, bend, lift, carry, or otherwise move goods weighing at least 30 pounds intermittently.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning of specialized areas, including kitchen machinery, spa areas, and casino-floor areas.
• Perform general floor care as needed, including stripping, waxing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning.
• Clean and sanitize cooks’ lines in all food outlets.
• Clean and sanitize food storage, shipping, and receiving areas.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment, including street sweepers, utility carts, power washers, genie lifts, and pallet jacks, and perform preventive maintenance on it.
• Notify a supervisor about unsafe conditions, areas or machinery requiring attention or repair, and materials or chemicals that need restocking.
• Provide excellent guest service to guests and internal clients.
• Comply with applicable ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures, and Tribal Regulations.
• Use the gasoline credit card to purchase fuel for company equipment.
