Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-3 months of experience
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Follow all safety procedures and perform job duties in a fashion that minimizes the risk of injury.
Responsibilities
- Vacuum, mop, sweep, clean, and empty waste baskets
- Clean windows and doors
- Restock cleaning supplies and restroom items
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment
- Answer and respond to phone calls, such as spills, wet floors, and general clean-up
- Pick up trash in the parking lot and around the outside of the store
- Sanitation of the facility restrooms and their fixtures
- Report any needed repairs to the supervisor, including but not limited to leaky faucets, toilets, loose tiles, or broken fixtures
- Maintain a high attention to detail, ensuring all areas of the property are clean and meet Scheels' expectations for appearance
