About The Position

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is seeking motivated Kitchen Crew Members to support back-of-house operations and deliver high-quality food to customers. The role involves food preparation, inventory stocking, cooking and serving food at the cookline, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety. This is an hourly position paying $20.00 per hour; the posting indicates that part-time or full-time schedules are available.

Requirements

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with the Kitchen Crew Training Guideline.
• Prepare food and stock inventory; maintain food quality and portion control when cooking and serving at the cookline.
• Prepare multiple food orders at the cookline and ensure orders are served accurately and promptly.
• Maintain store cleanliness by completing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
