This is a temporary position covering a staff leave of up to 12 weeks, with the possibility of remaining on our team as a relief (substitute) cook once the position concludes. You'll report to our Operations Director and work alone or with one other person in our kitchen team. The role involves preparing and serving daily lunch meals, offering two meal options per meal period, following nutritional guidelines for children and adolescents. Responsibilities also include keeping the kitchen, prep areas, and dining hall clean and sanitary, washing dishes and kitchenware, assisting with food orders and inventory, maintaining records of food preparation, and collaborating with kitchen staff and campus residents. Participation in special events may also be required.
