POSITION SUMMARY: The Kitchen Cook prepares food daily for our customers by following recipes, labeling, and storing baked goods. The role is responsible for preparing and assembling quality food products in a fast-paced environment. The Kitchen Cook is expected to be a role model of the company by delivering excellent customer service while maintaining company core values.
Requirements
- Proven track of providing excellent results, shows persistence and perseverance
- Demonstrates care and compassion for people; shows empathy and concern. Able to build and maintain positive team relationships, relates well to diverse people; is approachable
- Valid Food Handlers Card
- Customer Service and retail experience desirable
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment
- Follow recipe specifications and portion food products according to company standards
- Maintains standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions and food safety
- Fills and re-stocks front counter utensils, water sanitizer, vegetables, and drinks
- Ensure all prepared food items are weighed, labeled, dated, packaged and rotated according to company standards
- Follows procedures for voids, refunds, transaction cancellation and all saved recall transactions
- Responsible for personal Cashier Productivity
- Takes food orders in person and by telephone
- All other duties as assigned
- Demonstrates personal Customer Service excellence. Engages with customers always
- Improves speed and efficiency of service provided
